Willow Uth Praise Band
Willow is a Kingdom minded, Spirit-filled, Word based congregation. Being Kingdom minded means that we value every part of the body of Christ from Roman Catholics to Non-denominationalist. Everyone is needed to establish God’s Kingdom in a region. Being Spirit filled means we both recognize the need for the daily empowering of the Holy Spirit and encourage the practice of all spiritual gifts. Being Word based means that the Scriptures are our guide and standard for beliefs and practices.
On a personal note, Willow strives to be a place where the hurting and broken can receive healing and restoration. The congregation is accepting of those who struggle with sin issues. The membership of Willow realizes that people aren’t perfect and there is always hope, even for those who are furthest from God. Our desire is to, “preach good news to the poor . . . proclaim freedom for the prisoners, and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4.18-19)
The number one thing in our Uth Praise band is entering into God's presence pure. We don't try to put on a show. Though the music can be loud, sometimes it isn't a concert. We want to make our worship loud for all to hear how great our God is. We love God and he deserves our whole lives, that includes our music.

To God be the Glory! I have been a musician all of my life. I started taking Piano, Voice, and Guitar lessons at an early age and my love for music just grew from there. I graduated from Alvin Community College in 2005 with two Associate of Arts Degrees in Music, and in 2006 I recorded my first CD of 6 original songs. I enjoy singing, playing, and leading the Choir at my church, The Rock Church of Clute. God has blessed me with a wonderful Husband, Robert, and two wonderful families that I am thankful to be a part of. God is so good and His ways are higher. I am trusting in His plan for the future. I owe my life to Him!
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Psalms 98:4 "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise." Our name "LAZOR VISION" comes from the book of MATTHEW chapter 7 verses 13-14. Enter through the narrow gates, for wide is the gate and small is the destructive road and many enter through it. For small is the gate and narrow the road, which leads to life and only few will find it." Remember: Laser pointers only shine straight. Such is our walk in Christ. We are to stay on the straight and narrow road and keep our eyes looking forward. Don't turn back to the old ways. Put away the old you and run the race that is set before you. Looking unto Jesus. The author and finisher of our faith.
LAZOR VISION'S MINISTRY STATEMENT: We choose to serve God, through the life we live, the ministry He's placed upon our hearts & the music He's inspired us. We know you will be inspired by the message in the music God has given us. Jesus Christ died for our sins. The least we can do is serve Him in every way, shape or form. We go where ever God leads us. We'll go when He says "GO.". We perform original, inspired material, with the occassional cover tune. We play in both Christian & non-Christian venues. (i.e. cafe's, nightclubs, coffeehouses, prisons, churches, festivals, fundraisers, youth rallies, conferences, homeless shelters, etc.) All in the Houston area for free. Don't hesitate to ask us to ROCK UP your event, Lord willing. Blessings in Christ, Mike
Singer/songwriter Tquan Moore has been writing music for over fifteen years. During 11 of those years, Tquan was a youth minister at West Houston church of Christ before God sent him in the direction of full-time Christian music. As the Youth Minister he was also a worship leader and many times was called on to speak. The preparation of these years of ministry have given Tquan a clarity in both the music he is creating and the ministry he feels called to in the body of Christ.
Tquan started performing Christian music in 2002 as a way to share with others, the music he had already shared with God. Tquan was lead singer and acoustic guitarist for Houston-based band, ‘Beckoned’. Out of 170 entries from 35 states and eight countries, Tquan, with Beckoned, was one of seven artists/bands invited to perform at a Christian music contest called ‘The Unveiling’.
Tquan’s heart is for the transformation of people’s lives through the power of Jesus Christ. Whatever context he gets to do that in be it through music, speaking, at a retreat/conference or chatting with someone over lunch, the transformation of peoples lives is what he believes God has called him to.

"Tawana" writes and performs songs that have a unique way of sharing with others the struggles, victories, celebrations, praises, and just a "normal" day in various chapters of her life. Like a good book, with God's hand-turning the pages, she invites her audience to take a look at life through her eyes. Attending one of "Tawana's" concerts is more of an experience rather than just another show. Her music & lyrics go straight to the heart. She then, allows God to take over from there. Whether it's a secular event, a Christian music venue or bible based church, "Tawana" shares her faith woven within the context of her songs. This is well received by her audience which often leads to common ground and ministry.
