Melinda Key Bedrich
Wife to Russell, and a mother of two boys, Calvin and Taylor, Melinda is a local favorite. She has been called to singing praises to the Lord since her son Taylor was diagnosed with a brain tumor. His current album Made to Praise is receiving national attention and taking Glenn across the country as he performs his original works in worship, retreats, youth events, coffee houses, and concerts.

Through the cites of Chris Tomlin, Addison Road, Third Day, Casting Crowns and Jeremy Camp as musical favorites, AWAK3N LIFE plays music cut from a different cloth. While they certainly expresses their inner rage and soul's feel for the music that is uplifting and a powerful message for Christ, the group continues to give glory to God and entertain others throughout Texas.

We perform original, inspired material, with the occassional cover tune.

With music that is geared toward the teenage generation, lyrics are aimed at relating to and answering the questions to the problems we face each day. Influenced by artists such as Switchfoot, Relient K, and NeedtoBreathe, The AfterGlow is a high voltage band with a message for all to hear. "Be the remnant of His light. Be the remnant of His life. Be The AfterGlow"
